6 Year Old Inventor!

When Colton’s dad, Danny, saw the outrageous cost of new baseball bats, he sanded the pink graphics off of Colton’s sister’s old bat and had Colton pick out new grip tape on Amazon. After Danny applied the new grip, they spent more than an hour doing batting practice in the backyard. Danny then went back to his Saturday chores and Colton disappeared. Several minutes later, Colton came running into the house screaming, “DAD! YOU GOTTA COME SEE THIS!” Colton had taken the leftover grip tape and wrapped it around the diameter of a plastic ring he found in the yard. The second Danny saw the original DimeTime Disc fly, he immediately knew that they were going to make it into a product. In fact, he sent a rough sketch to a friend with 3D design experience and the first 3D printed prototype was created just hours later! That’s where Keegan (Danny’s best friend from the time they were 13) and his son Milo come in. They also caught the early vision and jumped in with both feet! It took roughly 50 prototypes before the DimeTime Disc, as we know it today, was finalized. It’s easier to throw and catch than any other flying toy ever created, especially for tiny little hands! We hope you enjoy dropping dimes with your friends and family as much as we do! And we dare you to not have a huge smile on your face while doing it!
